The Osteopaths at Oak Park Osteopathic Clinic combine a holistic approach with traditional osteopathic methods, using techniques that bring together healing within the body and the mind. In this way, our patients see improvements in general well-being as well as addressing specific injuries or problems.

The four-year Osteopathic degree course involves two years of classroom theory and two years of clinical practice. The practitioners at Oak Park Osteopathic Clinic all graduated with honours from the two most highly regarded Osteopathic colleges, the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone and the British school of Osteopathy in London.

We treat in a very similar way to each other, allowing patients to feel confident about continuity of treatment. Regular practise meetings and continued professional development enable us to stay in touch with each other and with the latest developments in the profession.

With the creation of the 1993 Osteopaths Act came the founding of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and, in 2000, the statutory register of Osteopaths. In order to use the title 'osteopath', practitioners must adhere to standards of practise and conduct and follow a compulsory program of continued professional development. Patients can feel reassured that when they consult an osteopath, they are seeing a skilled, registered professional. We at Oak Park are fully registered with the GOsC.
